Samples - Technique & Tool Tuesday

These are cards made at last week's class. I'm very sorry for the delay in getting them posted for you all to see. I hope the linen effect comes out on the brown and green layers. We had a blast with these two techniques...Faux Linen and Faux Tearing. My scans are not coming out very clear, but you'll get the basic idea. Looks like I'll have to get the scanner cleaned...yikes!

Finally....

I know what you're thinking, she is finally posting again. I'm sorry, but it has been a slow month for me. There is a lot happening in the Reeder home right now. The biggest project is the remodel of our Kitchen! Wow...this is BIG! Because of it and the complete chaos surrounding it, I have cancelled my classes for November. I am hoping to resume a limited December schedule and then back at it in January. Stay tuned for more information.

Now to the good stuff. Pictured above are a couple bookmarks I made from an idea received at the 2008 SU Convention! They are pretty easy to make by coloring the scallop chipboard frame with craft ink, add some DSP on the front and adhere a stamped image. Then glue ribbon to the back and put a piece of solid color card stock. The longest part of the process is waiting for the chipboard to dry.

I'm Baaack!

Wow...what a wonderful trip I had to Las Vegas and boy was it HOT! I'm glad to be back where it's not quite so warm and I can enjoy the great fall weather. Anyone who knows me, should know that Autumn is my favorite season.

I'm glad to be home and I will be getting some information posted soon with samples for upcoming events and ideas!

Getting Ready for Vacation....

Hello all...sorry it's been so long since you've heard from me, but I'm working on a lot of things preparing for my trip to Las Vegas. I'll be leaving on Saturday for 10 days!! I wanted to share some information in case you didn't get my newsletter. Then, I hope to get some new samples posted before I leave on Saturday!

I hope you’ll take the opportunity to view all that is "happening" in my creative world, including events, specials and new product!

With Autumn in full swing, be sure to check out SU's new Holiday Mini Catalog. There are some great new sets in this catalog and they are only available until January! Also, be sure to check out the Hostess offer of MORE REWARDS from SU when you hold a workshop with over $350 in sales!
