CATALOG PROGRAM CHANGE ANNOUNCED

On Friday, February 20, Stampin’ Up! announced that we will be moving back to an annual catalog. That’s back to one (1) full catalog each year, based on feedback from Demonstrators and Customers. This change will launch with Idea Book & Catalog this coming July 2009.

What does this really mean?
In July 2009, SU will go back to one (1) annual catalog.
The US Hispanic supplement will also become an annual catalog.
The Décor Elements catalog will continue to be separate from the Idea Book & Catalog. This will be released twice a year.
The mini catalog program will now include three mini catalogs a year, each lasting four (4) months.

In addition Stampin’ Up! will introduce a small selection of hostess sets in each mini catalog. This will give each of you more choices for hostess sets and a really good reason to host a few workshops throughout the year. YEA!

More details will be announced in the coming months, so stay tuned!

Excitment & Fun

Hello friends! I hope you are are doing well. I'm in Holland/Zeeland, Michigan tonight and tomorrow for a SU Demonstrator Stamp Camp! We have a fabulous upline...Jackie Bolhuis, who organizes great training programs for those of us in her downline, through level 5! This is the 4th event I'm attending up here in Michigan.

We are sure to learn a lot of new things that I will be able to bring back and share with you. Watch for updates over the next few days. I'll post some of the items that we make and work on adding this information to my upcoming classes.

Have a stamp happy weekend and don't forget to make some time to stamp!

Watercoloring Technique Sample 1

Wow was this fun! The flowers on the card were stamped using the "wet" watercoloring technique with SUs wonder crayons. This is done by coloring directly onto the stamp with the wonder crayons, then spritzing the stamp with water using a small spray bottle (an old stampin' mist sprayer bottle filled with water works perfect) and stamp on the paper.

I'm not sure that you can see it, but the top "bordering blue" panel, under the stamped top note, is embossed with the NEW texturz plates using the big shot! These machines can do so many neat things it's wonderful!
